The Honda Fit, they are all driven by lethargic old people or clueless new drivers searching for the Pokemons. They have no appeal whatsoever. Why on earth is there an “offroad” version? I loathe it.

Funny, my Honda Fit loathes you.

They have appeal, just not to people who like luxury cars, particularly from unreliable brands.

You better be careful.

I might be trading in my Smart this weekend for a Honda Fit. I’m neither lethargic and old nor clueless and new.

Why are you buying one?
The smart has a purpose and excels at it, small city car.
The Fit is just there, it exists, but that’s it.

I know lots of 30s-ish folks with Fits. Most of them live in urban areas where parking is terrible, some just like small cars like I do. Only commn denominator I can think of is that none have small children.

(Supposed) Japanese reliability; Magic Seats; five-speed automatic; sharp steering/handling; lots of standard safety features compared to other model year 2009-2014 subcompacts sold in the U.S.

I think it is about time you bought a X308 Jag.

I also live in a 11 million people urban area metropolis and I’ve been buying the largest vehicles I possibly can. Difficult parking is a myth.
All joking aside, there are so many cool little cars with lots of charisma, Mini, Smart, 500, 1 series BMW.
The Fit is akin to a toaster oven.

And it’s the ideal car for folks who want a small appliance.
Would you like a gold star for your parking skills as well?

Yes pls, some colorful stickers would be nice.

Mr. Regular has a Fit. And that car ... I don’t think they sell that version here.

I kinda enjoy that some cars in Brazil (economy cars probably) have an ‘offroad’ option. started with the CrossFox and Gol Rallye for me. would be awesome in a snowy climate like Canada.

Get the Fit. No one here should make fun of it, or your choice of transmission. I’ll have your back.

In what way is that offroad

It isn’t, but they market it as offroad, just like this.

I’m shit at parking, that was a joke.
Thanks for the stickers, imma glue them on my forehead.

It’s a smart buy. Keeps it value way better than most small cars.

Hey, parking by Braille is definitely more effective when you're in the largest vehicle. Ask my high school classmates what they thought of my land barge.

My Wife and I like ours a lot. It ticked all of the boxes.
Hers: it’s purple, it’s cute, was cheap to buy, it has been cheap to drive, it’s got lots of space in the big hatch, seriously sooo much space.
Mine: it’s got paddle shifters and a leather steering wheel that make it feel better than it is, even though it’s automatic, and not an old sub compact it’s still pretty fun to zip around town in, and it gets decent mileage without being a hybrid, or feeling like a teeny tiny car.(like a Fiesta)
I wonder if those OEM roof rails will fit our Fit?

That’s funny since the Fit is like the perfect car for a family with two kids. Unless those kids, and the parents are all over 5'10". One of the reasons I like the Fit so much is when my Wife and I do have kids, the Fits high roof will make loading and unloading a small child much easier.

Y’know, most of the folks I know with them do happen to be on the my-height-or-shorter side. It probably is a decent car for kids but all the women I know with children actually seem to be of the minivan persuasion.

I’m 6'1" and I can be comfortable in any seat, but I couldn’t if another tall person was behind, or I front of me. Thankful most of my friends and family are shorter than me.

The Fit is excellent, with a driveway and two small kids. I don’t get the hate. Although idk what that off-road business is.

It is 16 times as practical as any of those, and even a little fun to drive.

Los Angeles? Doesn’t count.

I’m honestly sort of curious. But then I found the AWD Kia Soul concept hilariously appealing as well.

Fits are fun little cars - plus super useful, great mileage and bullet proof.
